I knew about the news as soon as it came out, though I didn’t really think about writing it until now. Kissmes all over the world are mourning: the maknae of the Kpop boyband U-KISS, Dongho, is leaving the group. Read more about it here.
Dongho is the third member to leave U-KISS, with the first two being Kibum and Alexander. The reason for leaving is because of his health condition, and because he no longer has the desire to be a celebrity. It is understandable why. The life of a celebrity is tiring, and no doubt will it worsen your health, due to tiring schedules and nonstop singing and dancing. And sometimes, the fame doesn’t even seem worth it, with obsessive fans stalking you left and right, and with no privacy and no voice of your own. (Read my sarcastic post about celebrity life here.)
His departure is a sad event, but I wish him good luck in the path that he wishes to walk. We’ll miss you, Dongho!
